Diet Bet

I need to change the name of this blog. The 100 lbs in 365 days never happened. Too ambitious I guess. Thinking I'm on Biggest loser or something.

Have you seen these contests called diet bet? They are all over the place. There is even an app. My sister This is It decided she wanted to do a diet bet and of course I should do it with her. She's all about "Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition" and Chris and Heidi Powell. I must admit I watch it too. Well Chris and Heidi have been doing this diet bet program for a while now. It was $30 to join and if you meet the 4% goal you get to divide the money with everyone that meet their goals. The promise is that if you meet your goal you will get at least your money back.

4% doesn't sound that difficult right. Well its 4 weeks and if your heavy like I am it amounts to more than 2 pounds a week.

The first few days weren't too bad but I'm not very disciplined and we had breakfast provided at work today. Total set back I'm sure of it.

It doesn't help that I have a left knee injury and a torn muscle in my right leg. This one will strictly be on diet alone as I can hardly walk these days.

Lost 5 pounds!

I didn't post my weight loss on Tuesday. I lost 5 pounds that's 11 pounds in 3 weeks. Not too shabby!

Working out

Yea I do t look anything like these guys. But I have started to work out again. I took it easy the first few days.
Yesterday I started cycling again. It felt pretty good but this morning my seat is a bit sore. Not looking forward to ditto g on the bike tomorrow. I may need a pillow!

Lost 6!

So I lost six pounds last week! Very exciting. I only have one complaint it all came off in the first few days. I have stayed the same weight for the last 5 days with no change. If this keeps up this week I will probably not continue this weight loss program. It is way too restrictive!! I pass up everything and no weight loss that's bs!
